Altar I was created with the vision that keyboards can have a personality, that desks shouldn’t be boring with generic looking keyboards and accessories. The owner has an extremely strong visual language which he brought to this device.
We worked on Altar I as advisors, guiding him along the way and through his crowdfunding process. Once he shipped all of the keyboards he took a break from product but couldn’t stop thinking about it. Generation 2 was born!
Altar II, announced in August 2026, takes its vision from Altar II but innovates with intriguing new features; extremely thin profile, detachable / configurable dial, haptic feedback and more.
